PECT delivered comprehensive electrical systems for Yamaha Motor Pakistan’s state-of-the-art 17,000 m² motorcycle manufacturing facility in Karachi’s Bin Qasim Industrial Park. This PKR 160 million installation supported Yamaha’s strategic re-entry into Pakistan’s rapidly growing motorcycle market, representing critical infrastructure within their total USD $150 million investment.
The electrical scope included VCB panel installation, load break switches, transformer systems, main distribution boards (MDB) and sub-distribution boards (DB), automatic voltage regulators (AVR), backup generator systems with fuel tank installations, extensive cable ladder infrastructure, complete HT and LT cabling networks throughout the manufacturing facility, comprehensive lighting systems for production areas, fire alarm system installation, public address system for facility-wide communication, medical earthing for safety compliance, lightning arrestor protection for sensitive manufacturing equipment, complete earthing systems, and telephone and LAN network infrastructure supporting operational communications. The facility commenced operations in April 2015, producing YBR125 motorcycles for 140 dealerships nationwide.
